This morning we decided to go for a motorcycle ride. Hubby suggested we might go to Erieau or Mitchell`s Bay for lunch. On our way out the door, he decided he wanted to go to Bell to see if they could figure out why we cannot turn on the tablet. I was not exactly thrilled since I do not like to ride in the city.
The news was not good. We have to contact Samsung to see what can be done. We still have two years in our contract with Bell which we will have to continue paying whether we can use the tablet or not. So far we have not been able to contact Samsung.
After we left the mall, we headed toward the Detroit River. It was already noon and we were hungry. He likes to take me to the chip wagon at least once a season and we had not been there yet this year.
We each had a small order of fries which was plenty. We sat at a picnic table and fought off the wasps that are prevalent at this time of year.
That`s Detroit, Michigan across the river from Windsor, Ontario.
The Ambassador Bridge between Canada and the United States.
Another view of Detroit.
An old tug boat Hubby wanted me to photograph.
After we left that park, we headed down Riverside Drive toward Tecumseh.
This is the fountain in front of Windsor Caesars Casino.
Further down Riverside Drive, we passed by Hiram Walkers.
Riverside Drive has many beautiful mansions. I used to wonder what the owners did for a living to be able to afford such lovely homes. I didn`t get any pictures today. Sometimes I think it would be nice to have the view those homes enjoy.
Today`s last picture is Buddy, our part Jack Russell, part Boston terrier. I looked out the window one afternoon and saw him enjoying the sun. I guess he figured his belly doesn`t get enough. :)
