Time is passing by so quickly. My theory is that we are always thinking so far ahead rather than living in the now.
When we got a computer and got on the internet it seems like the world opened up for me. I have always been a reader but now I am reading most of the day - not necessarily books but blogs, articles on various sites and of course, e-mail. I say I want to get back to counted cross-stitch or sewing or some of my other hobbies but I don't pull myself away from the computer.
This week I found a blog that could have been written by me although I think she does a much better job at expressing herself than I do. I commented on one of her entries and got a response. We have connected on http://www.myfitnesspal.com/ since we both use it. She is living in British Columbia having recently moved there and of course I live in Ontario. We have many similarities. A big difference is the 10-year age difference.
One of the things on her blog is a list of 60 Facts about Me. I am thinking I will make a list of my own with seventy facts about me. Surely I can think of 70 things.

Hi Judy, Thanks for coming to my blog. I hope you come back often --and I will return to yours. We have a lot in common since I have lost 100 pounds (in 2011-12) --and am working very hard to keep it off. Keeping it off is much harder than losing it.... I have a post you might want to read on my sidebar under the label, WEIGHT LOSS (almost at the bottom of the page)....
ReplyDeleteYes---the internet and blogging do take up a lot of our time IF we let it. I am only blogging twice a week now (Mon and Thurs)--so that helps keep things in balance.
Nice to meet you.
Hugs,
Betsy
