Thursday we had an appointment in Windsor. My signature was needed on a form. Apparently there is some new legislation that requires a signature every two years. The roads were fine. I could have driven myself but Himself had nothing else to do so we went together. That was good because after-ward, he took me to the Back Road Cafe for brunch. We also stopped at Costco to fill up the car. Gas was $.84/liter yesterday. That is the lowest I have seen in quite some time.
In the afternoon, I watched a YouTube video showing how to do a log cabin block. I made one as I was watching. I will be doing more.
About 6:15 we headed to the Legion for our Valentine's Day dinner. It was so nice. They used real white tablecloths and red napkins. There were small candles on each table, along with real flowers. The waitresses wore red tops and black pants. It wasn't too busy when we were there. I think they started serving around 4:30 so it may have been busier earlier.
The meal started with salad and garlic bread, followed by Valentine's ravioli with marinara sauce. The main entree was either skewered shrimp or chicken parmesan with linguini with garlic sauce. Dessert was tuxedo chocolate mousse which was nice and light. We were both over-filled. I brought home half the chicken. It was a very nice evening out with my valentine.
