This morning was the 4th annual Harrow District High School Iron Hawk duathlon and 5K run. My son, daughter and grandson took part in the duathlon. I walked and ran the 5K. I liked the set-up of the course better this year than last. Hubby took our picture before the starting gun.
And here we are after we finished.
It was a warm morning. I was very happy to see the finish line. My time was 2 minutes quicker than a year ago. That surprised me. I was disappointed there was no bottle of wine for winning my age category. (That was my reward last year.) Actually I think Hubby was more disappointed than I was.
It was a good morning. I spent the afternoon recuperating (as in napping).
