My TOPS meeting was this morning. I was down a pound since our meeting two weeks ago. We did not have a meeting a week ago because of icy conditions. We had our annual election. All the officers are the same. I will continue as the assistant weight recorder.
I have walked every day this week. I did not reach my step goal (8912 steps) on Monday which meant I had to aim higher on Tuesday. Dr. Oz suggests 10,000 steps most days; at least I thought he did but now I cannot find it in the book. I did find where he says to walk 30 minutes every day. Perhaps the 10,000 steps is on his website.
Anyway, I walked 6,921 on Monday, 10,182 on Tuesday and 8,809 so far today.
I was a bit disappointed when I came back inside this afternoon after walking 75 minutes to find my pedometer registering only 8,800 steps. I should be able to reach 8912 by the end of the day. Perhaps for now I should concentrate on 30 minutes a day with the eventual goal of 10,000 steps.
