More Signs of Spring

On Saturday, I noticed the daffodils are starting to open.

For me, daffodils are the sign that Spring is really here although I do have a picture in my file, of daffodils with a coat of snow. I am going to be optimistic and say that snow is done for this year.

We have noticed the grass is really starting to get green. Soon we will hear the roar of lawn mowers.

There are buds on my newest lilac bush.

Rhubarb is breaking through the ground.

And so are the chives

Our companions enjoy the sun almost as much as I do. Sometimes I look out and see Buddy on his back with his feet in the air. Here he is enjoying another nap.

Wiggles was content to watch her brother, waiting for him to chase another squirrel so she can run behind, wondering what is going on. emoticon

We made it through another winter. I love spring.

  1. Hi There, We've had snow here also AFTER the Daffodils bloomed. In fact, last year, we lost some of our favorite Lilies --due to a late frost....

I love Rhubarb --and haven't had any in years... My mother used to make it a lot when I was young... Several years ago, I enjoyed a rhubarb pie!!!!! YUM.

Your pups seem to be enjoying spring as much as I am.
    Hugs,
    Betsy
