Signs of Spring

Yesterday I was extremely happy to see my first flower of the new year.

I have been watching the daffodils but it will be awhile before they appear.
When I posted the crocus picture on Facebook, this is what my sister had to say - "nice. here are my daffodils."

They (the Atlantic Provinces) have had such a miserable winter.  I enjoy Spring so much.  I would be less and less happy with every new snow storm.  

It is still chilly here but the sun is shining and drying the ground.  This morning, I hung sheets on the line to dry.  Line-dried sheets is another sign of Spring.  All is well.

    Hi Judy, Love Crocuses.... Ours are gone now. Seems like our Spring came quickly --after all of the ICE we had... The Daffodils are still blooming --and we now have some tulips... Oh how I love Spring... I'm sure you will be smiling once you see those Daff's blooming.
