No, I haven't given up. Every morning I resolve to do better than the day before.
I do the cryptoquote in the daily paper. The quote above was today's answer. It hit home. I WILL be successful because I am trying one more time today, and I will do the same again tomorrow.

I've come across this quote a few times and love it! The key is, "Don't give up." Keeping active on Spark is my motivator to keep going. We're a winner if we keep going and don't quit.

It's a good motto, and one we must all live by -- otherwise our lives would be a massive list of failures. And to not try one more time is not fair to ourselves. Afterall, how many people get things perfect the first try?

Thanks for these words of wisdom. After my car accident, I could not walk very much because of pain. I still have the pain and now a weight gain to deal with at the same time. Decided I need to get back on track as much as I can. At my age and the arthris in my knees and hips I know I won't be able to get back to walking 15,000 steps daily. But I can and am trying to march around my apartment for 10 minutes a day. When I can do that without a lot of pain I will start adding minutes. I know it does sound like much but it is better than doing nothing. So thanks again for your wise words. I can begin again. Which means I am going to go get my shoes on and march for 10 minutes

Great blog - Never give up - Oh we might fall off the wagon and end up in the candy jar or the potato chip bag but as we make out way out and get back in the swing, we continue to see the traps and avoid the pit falls as long as we keep on keeping on.

Thursday is my morning to stay in bed a bit longer, with my book. Himself had a restless night so he was up early. About the time I was waking up, I could hear him snoring in his chair so he did get some sleep.
All week, it has been late afternoon before I got to my e-mail. This morning I was surprised to have so many e-mails since my inbox was emptied before I went to bed. I was getting replies to a blog I wrote in December. I wondered why now for a blog that was a month old. And then I got to the e-mail from Spark People saying my blog was being featured. Wow! what a wonderful boost to an ordinary day. Thank you Spark People. You sure helped me feel better on this cold wintry day.
