We had a busy day. We drove to the city. We dropped off a couple of boxes at a friends. We also had Hubby's bicycle so he could stop at the bicycle shop for an adjustment. That didn't take very long. From there we went to SIL's apartment to finish emptying it. I got my exercise going up and down the stairs from the storage locker to the van.
After we finished there, he took me to a used book store I like to visit when we are that end of the city. I got a couple of books on exercise for me to try. They were only $3.45 each. That is one of the reasons I like that store.
Lunch came next. The Running Factory is very close to the restaurant where we ate. I went in and got a new pair of running shoes and some socks. The young man who waited on me was very nice. I enjoyed chatting with him. He will be running in the international half marathon that my son and daughter are running in October.
Next we stopped at Best Buy. The battery in my Fitbit is supposed to last for 6 months. It has been 'eating them up'. I am lucky if I get a week. A friend has a 'gadget' he wears on his wrist. We looked but since I had been in touch with Fitbit before we left the house, we didn't actually buy anything.
Our last stop was for Hubby to get new flights for his darts. He is thinking about joining a dart league that starts tonight. He got what he wanted and we came home.
At suppertime, I got word that Fitbit will replace my Zip. I am very happy with that news. It will be here in about a week.
