Getting Excited

I will start by going back to Wednesday. Himself got me a new Fitbit Charge 3 because the wrist strap on my Charge 2 could not be fixed or replaced. Unfortunately, I have already had problems. The strap will open unexpectedly which means it could fall off my wrist if I am not careful. I sent an e-mail to Fitbit but have not heard anything back.
It has been a busy week as I prepared for my trip home to Nova Scotia. I wanted to get my garden going but because we have had so much rain, my time working in the dirt has been limited. Finally on Friday I got some seeds planted. There is so much more I want to do but it will have to wait until I get back.
We live about 2 hours from London, Ontario. My daughter lives about 30 minutes from the London Airport where I am getting my plane to Halifax, Nova Scotia, on Monday. She offered to drive me and so she came home on Saturday. She has many friends to visit when she is home. She also went golfing with 3 friends. This afternoon we drove back to her place. My son-in-law is working today. Perhaps I will get to see him before we leave in the morning.

My sister and I have been texting back and forth making sure we have lots of warm clothing for our stay in Newfoundland. We aren't quite sure what to expect but we are both looking forward to our time together exploring an area of our country we have not seen before. Rain or shine, we will have a good time. Let's hope snow is not in the forecast.
