Point Pelee

Point Pelee is one of Canada's national parks. For the past couple years, we have purchased an annual pass for this park. This year, 2017, is Canada's 150th birthday.
This year, there is free admission to Parks Canada places from coast to coast to coast!
Point Pelee boasts the southernmost point of land in Canada.

This is what I saw today:
They say the strip of land will return at some time.
After visiting what was left of 'The Tip', we drove to the Marsh Boardwalk. I wanted to do the 1 km loop.
I'm glad my himself suggested we go to Point Pelee today. The weather was good - no wind. It was muddy in places where there was sun but that is what one expects as this time of year.
