Photo prompt - Morning Picture

For the past two days, my walks have been on the treadmill. I don't like ice and with fresh snow on the ground you can't be sure where the ice is. Today I had to get out of the house and I'm glad I did. I enjoyed my walk. It was still morning when I took the picture from the driveway.
For the past few days my husband has been complaining about stomach pain. It would ease up and then come back. Yesterday, after supper, he had had enough and called 911. They took him to the hospital and he will be staying there for a couple days. It turns out he has pancreatitis. He is being treated with medication. His phosphorus and magnesium are low. He had been thinking he was getting a kidney stone. He has had trouble with those in the past. He has his phone and his book but I know he must be terribly bored. He says that every time he starts to fall asleep they come for more blood (which they have a hard time getting.)

I am happy to report that I picked up my husband from the hospital around noon. He is feeling much better. Thank you for your prayers and well wishes.
Challenging Days
Friday, February 12, 2021
It was just a few days ago that I wrote about my husband coming home. Last night the ambulance was called again. About 8 pm he started to have pain again. He is back in the hospital. Apparently there are a couple gall stones causing his problem.
Saturday morning the ambulance will take him to a hospital in the city to have a procedure to eliminate the stones. When he called tonight, after he saw a doctor, he told me the gall bladder might have to be removed. They will know after they look tomorrow. He doesn't hear well and of course I couldn't be there. There was an accent that made it even more difficult for my husband to understand what the doctor was telling him.
Some of our restrictions are being lifted. My hairdresser called tonight. I am scheduled for a wash and cut Tuesday afternoon. That will be the first day her shop is permitted to be open again.
I have a new sympathy for those who live alone during this epidemic. I am thankful I can still go for walks. They do help. I have enjoyed listening to the radio. We don't have it on when himself is in residence.

Today I am grateful for good neighbours. We had a snowstorm during the night. I woke up to the sound of a snow blower. After he cleared his driveway, he came and did ours. It was very appreciated.
