Before I arrived in Nova Scotia, my sister asked if I would be interested in visiting the Magdalen Islands. Neither of us had been here and she wanted to visit. Of course, I said 'yes'. She made the reservations for the ferry and motel. Wednesday was the start of our latest adventure.
Shortly after 9 we left River Hebert to drive to Souris, Prince Edward Island.
This is part of Confederation Bridge as seen from New Brunswick.
The ferry. We had to be at the terminal an hour before departure. We were there in plenty of time and got into our assigned line to wait. We left the car and wandered around until the ferry came in and deposited those who were returning from the islands. Then it was our turn.
