World Alzheimer's Day for Heroes

I know my friends are waiting to hear how my walk went this morning. Everything was great. My time was better than the walk I did on July 1 (56:47) - 52:38 (today) . I am happy.

If you have good eyes, you might see a patch of yellow about the center of the picture. That's me with my yellow jacket tied around my waist.

There was a high school band at one of the corners. They were playing "When the Saints Go Marching In" as I passed.

I was still walking alone but joined up with a young lady soon after this.

We realized we had been staying together for awhile and started to talk. We were together for the rest of the walk. It sure helped pass the time to have a new friend.

The clock as we reached the finish.

My new friend, Nicole, and me.
It is nice when you have your own personal photographer. Ted loaded his bicycle in the truck and drove me to the walk. I think he was planning a different ride but when he got there, he decided to follow us. He enjoyed himself. Maybe next time, he will be more eager to come along. I don't have any pictures from my first walk because there was no one with me. Having pictures helps with remembering. Thank you Ted.
